The 1956 Jaguar XK 140 MC Roadster, with its stately British lines and the ferocious look of its racing heritage, was fitted with the competition C-Type LeMans head, competition carburetors, and dual exhaust. It was a perfect example of cutting edge technology and was dubbed the 140 due to its top speed of 140 Miles Per Hour. The 140 MC lived up to its name on the track as it its impressive racing pedigree includes winning the 24 Hours of LeMans three years in a row.

This Jaguar XK 140 MC is 1 of approximately 3,000 produced. The car was sold new in Santa Monica, Southern California and has always been a California car. With just over 60,000 original miles, it has undergone a nut/bolt Concours De`Elegance grade restoration performed by Francis Collision Centre, and is documented with the British Heritage Certificate.
